Here is a selection of images from my career-radio, tv, events hosting and voiceovers.
More information on each picture!
A definite career/life highlight! Announcing the Forest team at Wembley, May 2022. Nottingham Forest were promoted to the Premier League
My second home! Matchday announcer since 2003, now also host-interviewing players/ex players in the lounges pre match
I joined TFM (Teesside) in 1990 part time while at university. I rejoined full time in 1994-this is an article from the local paper on fashion!
On the Sunday, we did a radio show from London building up to the play off final. Then, I was on the mic in Wembley. Monday morning-back in Nottingham and lunchtime on air live from Old Market Square...this was my view from the balcony!
Vicky McClure is probably the person I've interviewed the most. So genuine, so lovely-she asked me to host this charity Q&A in 2019
I had a (small) walk on part in this show at the Royal Concert Hall in 2019 (Kevin Clifton and Kevin Kennedy also starred)
a radio stunt..."if x happens, I'll walk naked over Trent Bridge". I renamed my dog Naked for the day.
Comedy genius
I have hosted several charity events for Maggies-a great cause.
Please let me know if I can help you
backstage at the Theatre Royal, with Sam Womack and Carrie Hope Fletcher during The Adams Family production
I've hosted hundreds of awards events-this one from 2016.
Let me know if you'd like me to host an event for you
One of my career highlights was broadcasting live from Sarajevo on the 30th anniversary of T&D winning gold
We used to do a "summer tour" around Nottinghamshire...this pic is from a campsite near Mansfield. I think the dog was a Radio 2 fan
during one summer, we did the show from a boat, sailing along the River Trent. Instead of drowning me, colleagues tried to kill me doing this....they failed. Mwahahahahahahaha
We sailed from Newark to Beeston, broadcasting all the way along the journey. I like to think I look like a BBC war correspondent here. No? OK...
The Hoff was in panto in 2013...this is us backstage at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham.
David insisted I wore his hat.
one of my favourite things to do as a radio presenter is an OB/outside broadcast. Sadly, this one involved beer...awful situation
I was asked to step in as host for an evening with Forest legends Garry Birtles and Nigel Clough on 21/3/24 @ Southbank City
