HELLO!

I'm Mark Dennison-radio presenter/tv presenter/voice-over/event host, based in Nottingham.

Currently, I present the mid-morning show on BBC Radio Nottingham Monday-Friday and Saturday Breakfast. Occasionally, I present the evening show across all 40 BBC Local BBC Stations.  In addition, I am also the stadium announcer for Nottingham Forest FC. I also pop up occasionally on breakfast TV (BBC1) and Inside Out (East Midlands). I can also be heard on some overseas stations and doing various voice-overs.

I love doing live events-anything from award ceremonies to black tie dinners/auctions-find out more in the "about me" section or drop me an email-see "contact"

2014 was a great year work-wise: Outside Broadcasts from Sarajevo for Torvill & Dean's 30th anniversary of Olympic Gold (this has been nominated for a BBC Gillard Award...and we made T&D cry...); underneath Nottingham, exploring the city's caves; marking the 30th anniversary of the miners' strike with some amazing stories and spending a week exploring Nottinghamshire's rivers and canals.

2015 has been just as busy-special Outside Broadcasts in a caravan (long story!), on a boat again, but this time for a unique floating "speed dating" event, doing the show live from the Ashes (they wouldn't let me in the ground, but hey!) and broadcasting live during March's eclipse. May brought the general election, so there was some politician grilling happening....also some more showbiz interviews: Su Pollard, Alexandra Burke and The Hoff to name a few. Plus, a few firsts: my panto debut and working at Nottingham Arena's EmCon event, hosting a Q&A session with the stars of Red Dwarf.

Recently, I've been getting back into event hosting: I've MC'd various black tie events like the Nottingham Post Heroes event, East Midlands Ambulance Annual Awards and various charity balls/auctions. Please see "about me" for more highlights.

I'll be adding pictures/content over the coming days and weeks-please bear with me!
